Objectives

Regardless of your position or level in the organization, everyone who works with other people is influencing or being influenced. We don’t willingly follow because of someone’s title but because we want to. By the end of this course, you will…

  • Enhance your belief that you can lead others in positive ways by influencing up, down, and across an organization, as well as in your personal life.

  • Learn to use a practical tool that will help you develop the skills to prepare to positively interact with others.

  • Develop the capacity to understand how you need to change so that others will follow you.

  • Understand how to turn any situation into positive progress toward your desired future state.

  • Create a new definition or understanding of leadership which will impact how you think about interacting with others.

Time Commitment

This is a 2 1/2-hour, self-guided program.

Course Flow

There are several short, engaging videos that will teach you the core content. You will be asked to pick an important situation you are dealing with at work or in your personal life. You will revisit your situation to apply each of the concepts you learn. By the end of the program, you will feel more prepared to positively influence in your selected situation and more familiar with tools to positively influence in any situation. The key to being successful over the long run will be to regularly practice what you learned.
